Queensland taxi operators have blasted a proposal to allow London-style unmarked private cabs onto the state's roads to take revellers home from busy entertainment hotspots.

The Queensland Parliament's Law, Justice and Safety Committee has put forward 68 recommendations to tackle alcohol-fuelled violence. Following is a summary of some of the key points.
