RSG – Responsible Service of Gaming
Provide Responsible Gambling Services - RGS (also known as Responsible Service of Gaming - RSG) is an element of competency (SITHGAM006A) from the nationally endorsed Hospitality and Tourism Training Package SIT07.
The Gambling and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2009 provides mandatory training in responsible service of gambling (RSG) for persons carrying out gaming duties or gaming tasks on licensed premises. From 1 October 2010, eligible licensees, gaming nominees and persons carrying out gaming duties (licensed gaming employees), and other (unlicensed) employees who perform 'gaming tasks' will be required to have a current RSG course certificate.
You will be issue a Statement of Attainment once you have successfully completed this course.
